We support children to reach their full potential right from the beginning of their time with us. Before your child starts at Mayfair Day Nursery a key person is allocated as our main goal is to help them to settle in so that they can build relationships with their friends and teachers, follow the routine and join in with lots of fun activities to support their learning and development. 

We truly offer a ‘home away from home’ environment.

What do we offer?

We have separate rooms for each age group. We have a baby room, toddler room and pre-school room. Each room is set up with age appropriate activities and resources to support children’s development in the 7 areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

We have a robust key person system that gives children the consistency they need to thrive

We have a beautiful garden which includes physical equipment, sand & water play, a mud kitchen, sensory garden, creepy crawly area, expressive arts & design area, construction area, book corner and mathematics and literacy resources.

We have events throughout the year such as Sports Day, Graduation, Cultural Day, Christmas Party. We also celebrate a variety of celebrations throughout the year, some of which includ: Chinese New Year, Diwali, Ramadan, Easter, St Georges Day, St Patricks Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day etc

We also take part in charity events such as Children in Need and Red Nose Day.

Partnership With Parents

At Mayfair Day Nursery we have a huge focus on our families. We love all of our children and we know that the best way to truly give them the BEST is to create an environment where parents are involved in their child’s learning. We do this by.

Constant contact and communication with parents, keeping the dialogue open.

Termly meetings with your childs Key Person to discuss their learning and development.

Our ‘open door’ policy means that parents are welcome at ANYTIME to speak with their child’s Key person or a member of management.

Regular Newsletters detailing term dates, events, charity events and ‘topics of the month’.

Event posters for each nursery event. All of our events are shared with parents / carers via termly newsletters and event posters.

Frequenlty Asked Questions!

We are open from 7.00am-6.00pm, Monday to Friday. The nursery is open all year round with the exception of bank holidays.
Full day sessions are from 7.00am – 6.00pm. We offer AM and PM session’s – AM sessions is from 8.00am-1.00pm and PM sessions are from 1.00pm-6.00pm.
The Early Years Foundation Stage believes that whatever can be done inside can also be done outside: therefore, we plan daily outdoor activities for the children.
